Otter House Studios, originally located in Long Island City, NY at the space which was previously known as 'Roxy Studios', was founded in 2016 by owner and sound engineer, Andrew Kambanis.
Otter House served as a multi-room recording and rehearsal space where local musicians could come hone their craft, network, and help build the community of artists.
With the help of loyal friends, employees, and clients, Otter House quickly became home to a multitude of
rising acts and talents and found itself successfully servicing not just the Queens music market, but the market throughout NYC as a whole.

But as many people and businesses would come to face the difficulties and hardships of Covid-19 in 2020,
Otter House Studios also found itself trying to navigate through the Pandemic and the various government mandated shutdowns.
Luckily, the establishment, backed by the amazing family of musicians it managed to form over the years and the resources it managed to utilize online, survived.
However, even though Otter House was able to operate after the Pandemic, the damage was done and decisions needed to be made as far as the future of the business.
Fast forward to September of 2023 when the doors would close at the Long Island City location and Andrew would move his base of operations into Brooklyn.
The move meant consolidating the business and shrinking down operations, but it also meant that Otter House Studios could now
offer a more personal and hands on experience for musicians, on top of opening itself up to services that were previously not offered.

Come November 2023, Andrew would bring in his long time friend and fellow business owner, Derek Maranzano, to begin to guide Otter House Studios in a steadier direction.
2 months later, Andrew and Derek would finalize their partnership and kick off 2024 with a better, stronger, more efficient and better organized studio that could cater to not just musicians, but various creatives.

Otter House Studios now stands as a Multi-Media space offering its traditional availability for recording and rehearsals,
along with new photography and videography services, all in order to cater to a vast selection of clientele and
to continue to build a beautiful community of creative minds.
